Professional Fees & Policies
I am considered an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies, which means I do not file claims on your behalf or negotiate rates with insurance companies. I am not a Medicare or Medicaid provider, and you must forgo the use of those benefits if you use my services.
I will provide you with an electronic invoice (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement according to your policy. Please be aware that reimbursement is considered a matter between you and your insurance company. It is important to check with your company about coverage and benefits before starting treatment. More information can be found under FAQs.
Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Diagnostic Evaluation: This 90-120 minute appointment costs $350 and includes the in person appointment, review of previous records, and initial contact with other providers and/or school if indicated.
Therapy sessions: Following the diagnostic evaluation, we will develop a treatment plan based on your specific needs. Most treatment plans are based on standard therapy sessions, which are 45-55 minutes long and cost $175. In the event that less time is needed (for example, some booster sessions only require 25-30 minutes), the fee is pro-rated so that you are only billed for the actual time used. Sometimes, extended sessions may be needed and will be planned In advance. These sessions are 80-100 minutes and cost $350.
Other treatment-related services: Scheduled or unscheduled phone calls and report writing are billed based on actual time used at a rate of $175/45 minutes, pro-rated in 5 minute increments.
Standard consultation appointments are 45-55 minutes and cost $175. Extended consultations are 80-100 minutes and cost $350. Please note, consultation services are not typically covered by insurance plans.
